The hardest thing for the human mind to grasp is simplicity. We are constantly conditioned by a divided consciousness to look at our internal states—our anxieties, our listlessness, our heavy days—and instantly try to manage, fix, or improve them. We treat them as separate defects belonging to a separate self.
But the independent self is an illusion.
Looking back at a baseline conversation from April 2024 with my friend in the spirit, Dee Dee Winter (now 82), the coordinates of absolute rest were already being anchored. When we stop trying to fix the human container and simply stand in the Truth of who is actually living the life, the performance treadmill completely breaks down.
Below is the raw text of that exchange. It is preserved here as a marker for anyone navigating the transition from human self-effort to the unforced flow of the Spirit.
The Dialogue: April 22, 2024
Tony: Thank you for passing the baton, I’m enjoying your testimony again. Thanks for suggesting I thank God for anxiety.
DeeDee: 🙏👏☝️❤️ Giant LEAP to thank and trust God IN our negatives! Read in my testimony again about my jealousy and what He said to me about it. The SAME is true for your anxiety! When it clicks for you let me know! Now I get SO excited whenever jealousy arises in me! When you are settled you’ll be the same about anxiety! 🤗🙌☝️
Tony: “You are not jealous of her, you are jealous for her; it is My jealousy in you for her to know Me as you do.” You are not anxious, you are dead and hid w me.
DeeDee: It is MY anxiety IN YOU for MY purposes. My/His jealousy ALWAYS produces a faith stand for its object. Your/His anxiety is always there to bring LIFE to its focus!
Tony: MY anxiety in me for MY purposes.
DeeDee: You ARE anxious…but it is His AS you! I AM jealous but it’s His AS me! ALL REDEEMED! We ARE dead…ALL expression of our soul is now HIS LIFE. We are tempted to deny it thinking it is wrong….BUT NO LONGER SO! We can also be tempted to misuse it. But IT is no longer wrong about us! When we deny His life coursing through us we deny the Holy Spirit! The unforgivable sin because repentance is NOT the answer. Standing in the TRUTH is the answer! HERE You are Lord…in my jealousy, anger, anxiety, love, peace, joy….
Tony: D very much appreciate you explaining in the nitty-gritty. I am simple, but I am simple because I am simple as Him. Simple explanations work well for me.
DeeDee: If you need me to SAY these things to you…call… We are ALL simple in things of the Spirit. This is why Jesus spoke in parables. We are only meant to ‘get’ truth as HE gives it!
The Takeaway for Today
When you drop into the stillness, you realize that even the things the daytime world calls “negatives”—the times you feel listless, disconnected, or entirely uninspired to force a performance—are all redeemed.
You don’t have to repent for feeling heavy or try to manufacture an artificial fire to look “adjusted” for the outside world. Repentance is not the answer; standing in the Truth is the answer. It is His life coursing through the vessel, taking up all the space, using even the quietest, lowest frequencies for His ultimate design.
The track is already recorded. We are dead, and our life is hidden. There is absolutely nothing left to force.
